Fly from London to Porto and transfer to vessel. Embarkation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
 
Day 2: Porto / Caldas de Aregos 
Porto: Casting off 2:30 p.m. 
 
City tour/walk through port wine’s namesake Porto finishing with a visit to one of the oldest port houses in Gaia complete with port wine tasting. 
 
Caldas de Aregos: Mooring 7:00 p.m. 
 
Day 3: Caldas de Aregos / Pinhão 
Caldas de Aregos: Casting off 7:00 a.m. 
 
Pinhão: Mooring 11:00 a.m. 
Visit to a traditional Quinta (vineyard) with lunch. Excursion to the magnificent Baroque Mateus Palace and park-like garden in Vila Real. Guided tour of tranquil Pinhão, including a visit to the famous station, decorated with blue and white ceramic tiles. 
 
Day 4: Pinhão / Barca d’Alva 
Pinhão: Casting off 8:00 a.m. 
 
Barca d’Alva: Mooring 2:00 p.m. 
 
Excursion to the ruins of Castelo Rodrigo in one of the historic parishes of Portugal. 
 
Day 5: Barca d’Alva / Pocinho 
Barca d’Alva: Casting off 6:00 p.m. 
 
Day trip to the Spanish university town of Salamanca for a visit to the impressive cathedral and Plaza Mayor (includes lunch). 
 
Pocinho: Mooring 8:00 p.m. 
 
Day 6: Pocinho / Régua 
Pocinho: Casting off 7:00 a.m. 
 
Régua: Mooring 2:30 p.m. 
 
Excursion to the pilgrimage site Lamego, with its impressive open-air staircase and Gothic cathedral. 
 
Day 7: Régua / Porto 
Régua: Casting off 7:00 a.m. 
 
Porto: Mooring 2:00 p.m. 
 
Excursion to the “Cradle of the Nation of Portugal” Guimarães. 
 
Day 8: Porto 
Disembarkation until 9:00am. Transfer to Porto Airport for return journey home or extend your stay in Porto with a City Stay package (pricing on request)
