Day 1 – Check in and Explore Southampton
Arrive in Farnham and take some time to explore the local area before checking in to the Bush Hotel. Step back in time and explore the ruins of Waverley Abbey, the first Cistercian abbey founded in England, dating back to 1128. From here, why not spend time exploring centuries of history at Farnham Castle, which has stood proudly overlooking the town for almost 900 years, before heading back to the hotel to check in with a bottle of Prosecco waiting for you on arrival and dinner on your first night.
Day 2 – Historic Hampton Court Palace
Wake up and enjoy a full English breakfast before setting off for a day of history at Hampton Court Palace, approximately 45 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Discover the baroque palace built for William III and Mary II, and most famously, once home to Henry VIII and his wives and children. Spend the day exploring its magnificent Tudor kitchens, lavish State Apartments and beautifully landscaped gardens. Why not challenge yourself to find the centre of the famous maze?

Day 3 – A Day of Discovery at RHS Garden Wisley
Enjoy another full English breakfast at the hotel before heading out to RHS Garden Wisley, around 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Spend the day at one of the UK’s most celebrated gardens, experiencing the beautifully landscaped gardens, colourful floral displays and tranquil woodland walks. Be inspired by seasonal blooms, discover exotic plants and spend time relaxing in peaceful surroundings before retiring to the hotel to enjoy another delicious dinner.
Day 4 – Botanical Beauty at Kew Gardens
Begin the day with a full English breakfast before heading out for another day of exploration. With two tickets to Kew Gardens, around a 1-hour drive from the hotel, home to stunning glasshouses, rare and exotic plants and over 300 acres of beautifully maintained landscapes. Meander through colourful gardens and peaceful pathways, take time to explore the iconic Palm House, filled with tropical wonders. Explore the gardens at your own pace, with a selection of cafés and restaurant to choose from, you can easily spend a full day enjoying Kew Gardens.
Day 5 – Farewell to Surrey
Enjoy a relaxed final breakfast at the hotel, before making the most of your late check out of 12:30pm.
