1-2 Graceland

Explore Graceland, the Elvis Car Museum, airplanes, entertainment complex, Elvis Career Museum, estate grounds and Elvis grave site. Memphis is a vibrant city with deep roots in cotton and music. 5 Vicksburg 

 

The city of Vicksburg served as a pivotal turning point during the American Civil War. 6 Natchez

7 St. Francisville 

 

This southern town charms with simple pleasures and unique treasures. Located on the bluffs of the Mississippi River, St, Francisville has has been described as one of the most beautiful small towns in America. Take a stroll through its historic centre where two centuries of architecture and lifestyle are on display. Enjoy free time here or take an included visit to the Greenwood Estate, Rosedown & Garden, the Myrtles Plantation or the Audubon Historic site. 

 

8 Baton Rouge 

 

Baton Rouge features all the history and wonder you would expect in a state capitol, but with an added down-home flavour that makes it truly unique. You local expert guide will take you on a tour of the cities most famous attractions including the old and new state capitols and the interactive Louisiana State Museum. 

 

9 Houmas House 

 

Houmas House and Gardens is a historic plantation complex established in the late 1700s, with the main house completed in 1840. Once the home of a wealthy sugar baron, this "Sugar Palace" features 16 rooms filled with period antiques and Louisiana artwork. Alternatively you can visit the impressive Oak Alley Plantation with it's stunning tree lined drive, and immerse yourself in its rich history and the beauty of the surrounding gardens. 

 

10 New Orleans 

 

Today disembark the incredible paddle-wheel river cruise ship and transfer to your hotel to check in for a 2 night stay. Afterwards take a guided walking tour of the French Quarter of New Orleans. 

 

11 New Orleans 

 

New Orleans is famous for it's delicious and diverse cuisine such as jambalaya, muffaletta, creole cuisine, po-boys and hand-made candies. Immerse yourself in the food, history, architecture and culture of this wonderful city during your free time, or book an optional New Orleans Food Tour. 

 

12-13 

Check-out of your hotel and enjoy some free time before transferring to the airport for your overnight flight home, arriving the following day.
